Family Owned Business
Founded in 1975 by Jimmy and Claudia Zollicoffer, E-Tex provided mechanical service in a variety of fields ranging from small engine to paint equipment service and repair.
However, they could see early on that the industry of Satellite Television was literally untapped in this area. This was back in the days when Cable TV was available in big cities, but those of us in the country were left with only the channels we could receive on tall tower antennas. Satellite TV was obviously the perfect solution!
Since then, E-Tex has been here to provide our customers with the full evolution of Satellite TV technology. From those big fiberglass dishes to the sleek rooftop units we see today, Jimmy and his team were working hard to bring these services to members of our community.
Keeping up with advancements in communication technology, E-Tex also offers Satellite Internet, as well as Cell Phone and Tablet repair, and custom Home Theater installations.
With their hard work and dedication, E-Tex has definitely become the leader in Satellite TV and Wireless Internet in Emory and the surrounding areas!
Now enjoying retirement, the Zollicoffers have entrusted the day-to day operation of their business of over 40 years to daughter Jeana, who joined E-Tex as General Manager in 2017.
